Course Structure

Wanting to meet the demands of our global work place makes having a good command of English a great advantage.

Our ENGLISH-FOR-BUSINESS course covers different work situations in the business environment. Students will practice reading, listening and talking in a business setting by: evaluating company mission statements, developing projects, understanding cross-cultural environments, and analyzing RVPs.

Students will also review and practice complex grammar and language-structure rules including: quantifiers, comparatives and superlatives, idioms and the passive voice. Students will practice new vocabulary related to contracts, proposals, and competition; and will learn how to identify words in a given context.

Effective communication is essential to the success of any business, yet professionals who need to communicate with each other as non-native English speakers can greatly benefit from taking the ENGLISH-FOR-BUSINESS Course.
