English level-A course covers the basics of conversational English: what to say when you meet people for the first time? How to have simple conversations and make new acquaintances?

This course allows you to practice simple conversational techniques that will give you confidence when meeting English speakers. You will use open and closed questions and also review basic verbs and adjectives.

This course is ideal for those who want to improve their conversational English and speak English with confidence.

This course is for people who have learned very little English in the past. Classes take place once a week over an 8-month period and students can take advantage of our complimentary enrichment lessons for an additional one-hour per week.

At the end of this course, students will understand sentences and phrases dealing with topics such as: personal information, shopping, working, renting an apartment, and other daily activities. Students will also read simple sentences and extract information from texts dealing with everyday life. Such as: advertising, menus, and more.

Students will be able to have short conversations and communicate about simple everyday tasks. By the end of the course, students will be able to describe their personal background, living conditions and other information regarding their surroundings.
