Course Structure

The course offers a comprehensive guide to using language effectively at the workplace, as well as in less structured conversations. Students will gain a new set of new vocabulary which relates to various topics and which can be applied in a variety of contexts.

 

Students will expand their knowledge of a wide array of grammar topics, such as complex perfect verb tenses, real and unreal conditionals, and the proper use of conjunctions. Additionally, the course offers a detailed look at specific occupations and the practice of mock interviews.

 

Throughout the course we will read classic literature, as well as discuss and debate current topics, such as environmental issues and the Nobel Peace Prize. Students will practice forming conclusions based on indirect clues, deciphering messages and organizing facts in a chronological order.

Course Details

Our English Level-D course is perfect for graduates of our English level-C course, or for those with a satisfactory command of spoken and written English, but who still feel insecure in expressing themselves in a professional conversation, or in a theoretical debate.

Classes take place once a week over an 8-month period and students can take advantage of our complimentary enrichment lessons for an additional one-hour per week.

At the end of the course, students will be able to summarize a story, an article or a historical text.

Students will also learn how to express an opinion fluently and spontaneously. Graduates will have more confidence conversing in work-related situations, including a formal interview.
