TERMS AND CONDITIONS – ETEACHER
Virtual classroom like any other classroom have limited capacity. Demand for our classes is very high, and late cancellation may prevent other students from obtaining a spot in the upcoming semester.
Students who (pre) terminate their participation in a course are entitled to a partial refund of the overall tuition for that course as per the following stipulations:
- Up to 5 days from the date of your registration you may receive a full refund.
- Cancellation up to 2 weeks prior to the 1st scheduled lesson – a 75% refund (Or completion of 25% of the total course tuition).
- Cancellation up to 2 weeks prior to the 1st scheduled lesson and leading up to 3 days prior to the 1st scheduled lesson – a 50% refund (Or completion of 50% of the total course tuition).
- Cancellation within the last 3 days prior to the 1st scheduled lesson – a 25% refund (Or completion of 75 % of the total course tuition).
- Up to 10 days after the 1st scheduled lesson – a 10% refund (Or completion of 90% of the total course tuition).
- No refund will be granted to those who submit their termination later than 10 days after the 1st scheduled lesson (Or completion of 100% of the total course tuition).
The above-mentioned refunds are the only ones that will be given to those who leave a course. In the event that eTeacher decides to cancel a course (such a decision is completely at the discretion of management), the registrants’ payments will be fully reimbursed.
Rescheduling and Accessibility to Private Lessons
If you wish to reschedule a private lesson, please inform your instructor or eTeacher’s customer service department (email@example.com) at least 12 hours ahead of the scheduled session. Lessons that were cancelled without advanced notification shall be deducted from the total number of hours that the student is entitled to.
The private lessons package is valid for up to one year from the day of registration.
The eTeacher Group bears no responsibility for the student’s equipment (e.g., computer, modem, and speakers). In other words, you are exclusively responsible for the condition of your personal equipment and for performing the obligatory technical checks.
The eTeacher Group hereby declares that the company’s liability for any student’s claim whatsoever is limited to the sum that he or she has paid for the course(s). Furthermore, the eTeacher Group shall not be held legally accountable for any and all indirect damage.
NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE
You may not use the Highway to English Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited under applicable law or under the terms and conditions provided herein, or in any other manner that could damage, disable, overburden or otherwise impair any Highway to English server or the network(s) connected to any Highway to English server, or interfere with any other person’s use and enjoyment of Highway to English Services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Highway to English Services or any part thereof, or to the computer systems or networks connected to any Highway to English server through any means. You may not obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available to you through the Highway to English Services.
